Euphrates Poplar Care
Populus euphratica
An extremely hardy tree native to the Euphrates River basin, adapted to desert and dry climates. It has very high tolerance of saline and alkaline soils; once its roots reach the groundwater table, it shows full drought tolerance. It is ecologically very important for erosion control and the reclamation of barren land.
